      The first round of the NFL draft is in the books and it is time for the draft report of the first 32 picks. I have done this in the past for the NBA draft but now time for the NFL draft. This draft consisted of offensive players which led to defensive guys falling. Saw some splashes and 5 quarterbacks in the top 10.  The first 14 picks were offensive players. Let's get in the reaction.  1. Chicago Bears - Caleb Williams - QB - USC The pick everyone knew for months, the Bears finally have their quarterback. One of the best prospects to come out since Andrew Luck. Chicago is filled with joy as Williams has the chance to become the first Bears quarterback EVER to throw for 4,000 yards. Jordan, Payton, Thomas, Banks, Kane, Pippen, Toews, Sayers, Sosa, Hull, Urlacher, Rose, and now Williams.   2.     The Los Angeles Chargers went 5-12 last season and fired their head coach mid way through the season. The Brandon Staley era in Los Angeles did not go as planned for the Chargers front office, players, and fans that thought Staley was going to take the league by storm. The era is remembered by the Chargers blowing a 27-0 playoff lead to the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2022. It was time to move on but they are still in a good situation.  The Chargers have their QB of the future with Justin Herbert who is 25 years old and just signed a 5 year extension, he is locked up to be the Chargers signal caller for many more years to come. But the wide receiver situation could be alarming from the outside looking in. The Chargers are in cap space hell moving into the offseason. The Chargers have to pay Khalil Mack, Joey Bosa, Keenan Allen, and Mike Williams all set to have a cap hit of 30 million plus.        The Bears have one of the most interesting off season decisions to make with either Justin Fields or Caleb Williams. If you were to ask any Bears fan, the fan base is split 50/50 and understandably so. Justin Fields has looked like a different quarterback since coming back from injury and also has 3 games left to prove. The Bears are also still in the playoff picture as well to make a run but seems very unlikely at this point. Lets get into the argument for both sides then I will get into my opinion. Justin Fields : I think the flash has been there the last couple of games and we saw the same thing from Fields to end the year. Also adding DJ Moore was huge for Fields as he finally got a WR1. The Bears have 2 top 5 picks and could focus on building around Fields through the draft. The Bears could do a couple things with the first pick and the most popular would be trading down.      The Cincinnati Bengals are off to a 1-3 start and Joe Burrow has not looked like the quarterback he once was. Some will say his calf injury is the reason, some will say Zac Taylor is not a good offensive coach, some will say the offensive line is BAD, and some have no idea what is going on in Cincinnati. All the Bengals have taken a step back and their fantasy positions are decreasing from years past. But Joe Burrow only has 2 touchdown passes through 4 games, and those 2 both came against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 2. Joe Burrow is the QB31 in fantasy football, only in front of Bryce Young for starting quarterbacks in the NFL. Baker Mayfield, Joshua Dobbs, and Zach Wilson are all better fantasy quarterbacks this year. Lets take a look at his weapons and compare their fantasy results this season.        The NFL offseason is finally among us and leads the fans to many questions around the NFL. The biggest storylines come out with free agency, draft, and players asking for trades. But the biggest storyline this season has to be Lamar Jackson and the non-exclusive franchise tag. Deshaun Watson had teams ready to give him a fully guaranteed contract and trading multiples picks for him when teams knew he was going to get suspended. Russell Wilson had teams willing to do the exact same thing but teams cautious about his age and when he was going to decline. Lamar Jackson is 26 years old and a former MVP. Teams have said they do not want to have talks with Jackson because the Ravens will match the offer. Teams do not want to do all this work for Jackson, just for the Ravens to use them to get a contract done with Jackson.        10 weeks down in college football. November football is finally upon us and we saw that this weekend. Scores closer than they should be due to weather, this is the fun weather. The playoff rankings are finally here and did not disappoint us. Every year the committee says they do not look at years past and only base their rankings off this year, but Clemson was still in the top 4. Lets get into my reactions from Week 10. - MACtion is the best, so glad someone thought of putting football on a Tuesday night. - Clemson got exposed as frauds. Clemson does not look the same without Brent Venables and Tony Elliot. This Clemson team does not even look like they have in the past.  - Brian Kelly vs Nick Saban, the next great rivalry.  - It took Brian Kelly 11 years to beat a top-5 team as the head coach at Notre Dame.        The Lakers are 0-2 and have one of the best players of all time on their roster. When healthy Anthony Davis is a top 10 player in the NBA, but man does he love wearing a suit on the bench. Or as Charles Barkley would say Anthony "Street Clothes" Davis. This team does not look together and does not look like they practice shooting in practice. I think its time to call the 6'0 point guard out of North Central College to come help the purple and yellow to bring back the Showtime Lakers.      The Lakers need a point guard, BADLY.  Russell Westbrook, Patrick Beverley and Kendrick Nunn shot 1-25 from the field COMBINED. Westbrook is constantly being left open and he thinks it's a bad rotation so he shoots. But defenses leave him open on purpose but he still shoots.        It is starting to look like there will be a quarterback competition in New England. Some are saying Mac Jones is a system quarterback, some are me. It looks like New England has drafted back to back rookie of the year quarterbacks, first with Mac Jones and now with Bailey Zappe. Now some are saying if a 9-5 office worker went out there against the Detroit Lions and Cleveland Browns, they would put up those numbers too and they are probably right. We have seen this before and there are 2 instances.      New England has been known to put out system quarterbacks. Tom Brady has gotten hurt in the past and when back up quarterbacks got in, they simply ball out.        There are multiple games in Europe this year, it seems like every time I wake on Sunday there is already a game on in Europe. There used to be just 1 or 2 but now there are games in London, Germany, or Mexico City, the NFL is looking to playing games across the world. But the NFL has always been rumored to want a team in London to grow the audience that has been growing rapidly over the last few years. The Jaguars have even got rid of one of their home games every year to play to Europe.      Rodger  Goodell has hinted at having 4 teams in Europe because having a division would be easier on travel. “We’re trying to see, could you have multiple locations in Europe where you could have an NFL franchise, because it would be easier as a division,” Goodell stated before the Packers Giants game took place.      Now here are the questions that everyone will ask.        The Chiefs came back and won last night against the Raiders. Adams had 3 catches for 124 yards and 2 tuddys for the boys in black and silver. The Raiders got the ball back late in the game down one where they looked to Adams to get them a touchdown or drive down the field to kick a field goal to win the game. Adams caught a ball to give the Raiders a huge catch to flip the field and was ruled a catch. After instant replay, it was ruled not a catch. The Raiders then had 4th down where they did not get the first down, turning the ball over and losing the game. Adams went to the sideline where he slammed his helmet down on the ground. Adams seemed frustrated after the last drive and the Raiders moving to 1-4 on the season.       But me personally, I would not let that slide.        The Big Ten has been one of the most interesting conferences in all of college football this season. There seems to be 2 categories, the Big Dawgs and Trash Teams in the Midwest. The Big Dawgs consist of Michigan, Ohio State, and Penn State which seems to be the teams competing for the Big Ten title every year. One of these schools have won the Big Ten title dating all the way back to 2016. The other category is the Trash Teams in the Midwest which includes the 11 other Big Ten team. The West just seems to knock off each other by beating each other on the road each week. Wisconsin were the preseason favorites and no longer have a coach. Minnesota seemed to run the west and now lost to Purdue AT HOME DURING HOMECOMING. Looking around the west it is anyones for the taking.         Week 4 of college football is here and I have some predictions for the kids tossing the pigskin around trying to get a degree. This is week is starting to get into conference week which means more rivalry games or games that mean more. I can see some upsets happen on the road and college football heating up. - OREGON STATE BEATS USC AT HOME AND AT CORVALLIS, OREGON. OREGON STATE IS CURRENTLY ON A ONE GAME WIN STREAK AGAINEST THE TROJANS AND LOOKS TO GO TO TWO GAMES. GIVE ME THE BEAVERS. - I expect to see a lot of points in the Notre Dame and North Carolina game.        Week 3 of college football is in the books and was another successful week of ball. Another week of upsets and fans lined up at 5AM for College Gameday. We even saw Herm Edwards get fired on the field after losing to a MAC team at home. Here are my reactions and thoughts to Week 3.  - Appalachian State was BUMPING all day on Saturday. College Gameday going to a non Power 5 school is always good because the fans show out, and App State did. Even great signs about Texas A&M. And to put the cherry on top, App State wins on a hail mary against their rival. No better way to script that up. - KANSAS FOOTBALL IS BACK. 3-0 BABY. - Johnny Wilson is fun to watch. The 6'7 wide receiver for the Florida State Seminoles is a nightmare problem. Louisville had no answer for him and other teams in the ACC won't have an answer either. - Both Oregon State and Washington State are 3-0. - Michael Penix is HIM.        The quarterback competition up in Ann Arbor between JJ McCarthy and Cade McNamara seems to be over after Michigan's win vs Hawaii past Saturday. Coach Harbaugh decided that both quarterbacks would start a game this season and after both performances they would name a starter. McNamara got the first start against Colorado State where he had 136 yards and 1 tuddy as Michigan won 51-7. McCarthy had the second start against Hawaii where he had 229 yards and 3 tuddys as Michigan won 56-10. During the two different starts JJ McCarthy has proven he is the better of the 2 quarterbacks and Harbaugh has rewarded McCarthy by giving him the start against UConn this week. Harbaugh also compared this quarterback competition to the 2012 49ers  quarterback competition between Alex Smith and  Colin Kaepernick.        College football is easily the best sport ever and it is not even close. Many upsets including Notre Dame and Texas A&M that were huge to the rankings and their program as a whole. We even saw Scott Frost take15 million dollars and not coach anymore. Week 2 saw a lot of close matchups and even saw teams show their true colors. Here are my reactions and thoughts to Week 2. - Texas A&M is one of the worst teams in the SEC, it just doesn't mean more to them. They have to play five top 25 in their next seven games including Miami, Arkansas, Alabama, Ole Miss, and Florida. Jameis Winston made Jimbo Fisher and has not been the same without him. Texas A&M could go 2-7.  - Texas beats Alabama with a healthy Quinn Ewers for all four quarters. - Marcus Freeman is now 0-3 in his first three games a head coach at Notre Dame. Notre Dame will be fine but has a lot to figure out offensively. Tommy Rees needs to figure it out soon. - USC will make the playoff...

     Shedeur Sanders is the best quarterback in the Southwestern Athletic Conference and FCS division. Don't get fooled just because of the last name, Shedeur Sanders can BALL. Sanders and Jackson State beat Florida A&M 59-3 behind his 323 yards, 5 tuddys, and 87% completion percentage. Sanders finished with more touchdowns (5) than incompletions (4). Sanders built off his impressive freshman season where he won the SWAC freshman of the year, Sanders threw for 3,231 yards, 30 tuddys, and 8 interceptions. Sanders showed that he is here to stay and play on Sundays in the near future.      Many people may pull the FCS card that he plays no competition but Sanders is one of the best quarterbacks in college football, no matter what division. Sanders was a 4-star quarterback coming out of high school where he had offers from Alabama, Georgia, LSU, and Oregon just to name a few. Sanders has the talent and capability to play in the NFL.   Draft season is the best time of the year for any sport, but NBA is special with the lottery and players wearing hats they aren't even going to. This draft class is GOOD and I love it. NBA draft is the best because the picks are in right away compared to other leagues. The top 3 changed last second and kicked off the draft with a bang right away. I will be breaking down the lottery then give out awards. Let's get into the picks. 1 - Orlando Magic - Paolo Banchero - Duke  I thought all along that Paolo Banchero was the best player in the draft and the most ready NBA player. Seeing him play against Gonzaga early on in the season, proved why he should be the number one player. Paolo now joins Shaq, Chris Webber, and Dwight Howard as the number one picks in team history. Paolo is great offensively but needs to work on his defense. Will be interesting to see Cole Anthony and Jalen Suggs team up with Paolo Banchero.        The dunk contest is a dying event in the NBA but fans still tune in every year to see if it will ever return to how exciting it was in the 90s. We got lucky with the battle of Aaron Gordan vs Zach LaVine battle back in 2016 but other than that, it has been a boring Saturday night. Many people have come out and said to put the 3 point contest after the dunk contest because that is more entertaining now. But I can see this reality where I win the dunk contest next year and revive the dunk contest.      I would not originally get picked to the dunk contest because I am not an NBA player but this is still a plan after the four contestants announced. The four contestants would be Jaden Ivey, Ja Morant, Zion Williamson, and reigning champ Obi Toppin. There is always one rookie that participates with bunnies and Jaden Ivey fits this description perfectly. Ja Morant has been pretty open about not participating unless he gets paid but...
